Step Back in Time at a Memory Lane Film Night 🎬
Residents are invited to enjoy an evening of nostalgia at a special Memory Lane Film Night hosted by St Nicholas Church Ashchurch on Friday 17 April 2026 at the Northway Community Hub. The event begins at 7pm and promises a fascinating look back at the local area’s past.

During the evening, guests will be able to watch film footage from the 1950s and 1960s, along with some more recent material, offering a glimpse into how the community has changed over the years. A collection of historic photographs from the church archives will also be on display, giving visitors the chance to explore memories and stories from the past.
Attendees can also choose to enjoy a traditional fish and chip supper as part of the evening. Anyone wishing to order food will need to place and pay for their order by Monday 13 April. Order forms are available from St Nicholas Church, which is open daily from 10am to 4pm, or from Northway Community Hub. Completed forms and payment should be returned to Sandra Terry, Sue Payne, or another member of the church.
Drinks will be available on the night, and organisers are encouraging people to come along, meet friends and neighbours, and take a nostalgic walk down memory lane.
