Northway Playing Field
Northway Playing Field is a public open space in Northway, maintained by the Parish Council.
It includes a large grassed area with marked sports pitches used for football and other field-based activities. There are changing rooms on site to support sports teams and organised events.
The Village Hall is located next to the field and is used for a range of local meetings, classes, and community events. A children’s play park is also situated on the site, which includes standard equipment along with a DDA-compliant wheelchair swing to improve accessibility click here for information on use of the wheelchair swing.
Other facilities include a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) for sports such as football and basketball, a small BMX hump track, and a newly built concrete skatepark suitable for skateboarding, BMX, and scooters. An outdoor gym is also available for public use, with equipment designed for general fitness.
The site is open to the public and regularly used by local residents, sports clubs, and community groups.
