Platinum Park

Platinum Park, previously known as The Park, was renamed in 2022 to commemorate the Queen’s Jubilee, the Council also planted two young oak trees in her honour.  Carrant Brook Junior School and Northway Infant School helped with the planting and took on guardianship of the trees.

In the north-west corner of the park, there is a Coronation Orchard containing plum and apple trees. The park also includes a small wild area that the Parish Council manages with minimal intervention, cutting it only once a year to encourage natural growth.

A teenage shelter is also located on Platinum Park, this was painted Jubilee purple in 2022!
